About Dave
Medicare guidance that starts at the kitchen table.
I'm Dave Normand. I've been a licensed, independent insurance agent since 2010, and I've spent that time doing one thing: helping people in Southeast Louisiana make sense of Medicare. My parents are both on Medicare plans, and I'm the licensed agent of record for both of them — so that responsibility is professional and personal for me. When it was their turn to choose, I sat with them at their kitchen table and walked them through it in plain language. That's exactly how I'll walk you through yours — usually at your own kitchen table, too, since most of my appointments happen at clients' homes, anywhere from New Orleans to Lafayette.

The reason behind the work
Why I do this.
Medicare is confusing. Why? Because Congress invented it. Behind the joke is a real problem: the wrong choice can cost you real money, lock you out of your doctors, or leave a gap you don't discover until you're standing at the pharmacy counter. My job is to translate — to turn the alphabet soup of Parts A, B, C and D into a decision you actually understand and feel good about.
